Does MapMyDrive show maps or live traffic?
No. Distances, speeds, prices and route details come from you. It does not retrieve roads, closures, traffic, weather or charger availability.
Are my entries saved?
Not automatically by the supplied calculator code. Results disappear when you leave or rebuild the page. Download text or print a current result to keep it.
Why did the old result disappear?
Changing any input clears the previous estimate and disables export/print. Build a fresh result so it cannot be mistaken for your edited inputs.
Does changing a currency convert money?
No. It changes the label only. Use one currency throughout each calculation.
Can I use this while driving?
No. Use it before departure or while safely parked. It is not in-car navigation or a driver alert system.
Can I stop the animations?
Yes. Use the header Motion button. A reduced-motion system preference starts with decorative animations off.
Will these tools work without JavaScript?
The page content remains readable, but calculations, dynamic rows, downloads and the report helper require JavaScript.
Does “Print / PDF” create a cloud document?
No. It opens your browser’s print function. Choose a local printer or Save as PDF if your browser supports it.
What should I do if an estimate looks wrong?
Recheck the units and entered assumptions, consult the visible method and verify actual information independently. Report reproducible non-sensitive examples through Contact.
