Sum amounts already paid, then allocate the total in proportion to share weights. Round shares down to whole currency cents and distribute leftover cents by largest fractional remainder; ties follow row order. Match owing and receiving balances in row order.

Use one currency throughout. Weights express your agreement, not days or distance unless you choose them that way. Transfers are suggestions only; no accounts, payment services or money movement are connected.
Can someone have a zero share weight?
Yes, provided another traveler has a positive weight. Their allocated share is zero; anything they paid is still included and can be reimbursed.
